Brief description of aims and content
This module intends to introduce students to Multilinear algebra: Bilinear and quadratics forms; Euclidean and unitary spaces Gramm-Schmidt orthogonalization process, diagonalization, Multilinear forms and their applications in the geometry of second order curves and surfaces, tensor algebra which generalize the concept of multilinear form. The role of the metric tensor in Euclidean space is highlighted.

Brief description of aims and content
This Module provides a working knowledge of vector analysis and classical mechanics. Students will be able to analyse physical situations and physical phenomena from the fundamental
principles related to classical mechanics. The general objectives of this module are at two years: Students will gain the knowledge and will develop the capacity to observe, to analyse, to apply, to interpret, and perform hands on activities related to classical mechanics.

Brief description of aims and content
The module introduces the basic concepts and principles of electrostatics, magneto statics, Maxwell Equations, propagation of electromagnetic waves, and their applications. The main aim of the module is to allow the student to explain electricity and magnetism phenomena, solve problem, perform experiments related to electricity and magnetism and apply teaching and learning strategies related to electricity and magnetism.
