The module seeks to expose students to basic concepts in foundations of Education, purposes of foundations of education in teacher training programme. Discourse on the component parts of Foundations of Education with emphasis on Economics
of Education, History education, sociology of education and Philosophy of Education; Principles underlying foundations of education would be examined.
