This module aims to define and explain the basic concepts in education such as teaching, learning, learner, teacher etc. communication in the teaching-learning, approaches to teaching-learning pedagogy, concept of learner-cantered pedagogy, theories of learning, teaching-learning principles and methods, Factors guiding choice of teaching-learning methods, types of educational taxonomies -cognitive, affective, and psychomotor levels of educational objectives.
